In-House Hockey
Attention: All skaters/players must be registered with USA Hockey to participate. That cost is age-based and a breakdown of those rates can be found here: https://www.usahockey.com/membership.
There is also a smaller, local affiliate fee for Massachusetts Hockey that will be processed along with your USA Hockey registration. Please click here to register with USA Hockey and be sure to have your registration # on hand when signing up for Chelmsford Hockey.

2026-2027
The In-House Hockey Program targets boys and girls ages 6 to 10 with the focus on basic hockey skills and player development consistent with USA Hockey guidelines.
Practices will be held at the Chelmsford Forum on Saturday mornings with additional games scheduled against other towns at varying times and locations.
We target our teams to consist of 7 - 12 players with coaches assigned to each team. The number of teams will depend on the total number of players registered. The In-House Program will use a shared-ice format with practices focusing on skating and skill development (puck handling, passing & shooting). Coaches will use small area games and competition drills will be incorporated to keep it fun for the players. Jerseys and socks will be provided for all players.
Our In House Hockey program provides a fun, instructional environment for players to continue developing their skating, puck handling, passing, and game play skills while gaining valuable game experience.
Throughout the season, players may have opportunities to participate in scrimmages against other programs and CHA Mite travel teams, giving families a chance to experience the pace and skill level of travel hockey. These scrimmages are designed to help players build confidence and assist families in determining whether travel hockey is the right fit.
For players who are not ready to make the transition to travel hockey, we encourage continued skill development through our Learn to Play 3 (LTP3) program after the In House season concludes.
