  Presidents Cup Update

The brackets have been filled. The trophies ordered.  This year’s Presidents Cup promises to be another exciting event, with 64 teams participating from Maine, Massachusetts, New York, New Hampshire, and Rhode Island.  As in years past, Action Photos will be there to take pictures of all the game action.
A preliminary schedule has been developed that requires some tweaks.  Our previous tournament director, Darren Cossette, has graciously agreed to work with us this week and we expect to have a published schedule by week’s end.
As we get closer to the tournament, we will be asking for volunteers to manage the check-in table at Skate 3, as well as the merchandise table.  Please remember that Presidents Cup is a great benefit to our entire organization.  Your participation is key to the success of the event.

Aucoin Hockey Camps Scheduled for Summer 2007

CHA Sponsor Aucoin Hockey invites you to visit their site to learn more about this summer's schedule for their camps.  The summer schedule was recently posted.  Last year's camps were very well attended and feedback was positive, so be sure to register early, as the sessions do fill up.  You can click their logo below to visit their site.

  Spring Calendar Raffle Upcoming

Can't get enough calendar raffle action?   Good news then...Fundraising Director, Michelle Kender, reports that the spring raffle is on the horizon.

Tickets will be distributed late February with drawings beginning at the end of March and into April.
This is a MANDATORY fundraiser (to replace a second tag day) therefore, each travel player must sell 5 tickets @ $5 each.  A $25 fee will be charged to the accounts of members that do not participate.

  Interested in Coaching in 2007 - 2008?

CHA's New coaching Director, Joe Canniff, has posted the application for coaching positions for the 2007 - 2008 season.  The selection process for Coaches will be conducted earlier this year, so whether you are interested in a head coach or assistant coach position for next year, please fill out the form and either mail it in or drop it in the CHA Mailbox at the Forum.

Click here to download the application.

  Coaching Surveys Online

This year, we will be conducting our annual coaching survey online.  Shortly after Presidents Cup, you will have a chance to provide your feedback regarding your skater's coaches for this year.  It's an important part of the process, and we encourage everyone to take part.  Too often the only voices heard are the negative ones, so we want to ensure we getboth, the positive and negative feedback.  It is extremely important to ensure that your view is counted.
