v     Receive reports from CHA Board on 2006-2007 Season
v     Opportunity in an informal setting to ask questions and get answers to your CHA questions.
v     Discuss program changes for upcoming season.

Tryout Results

Tryout results for each level will be posted online by May 15th.  Please be sure that you know your player's tryout number as results will be posted by level, color and number.  For example, a Bantam Team may look like:

Bantam 5's:

Yellow 81
Yellow 91
Blue 94
Blue 85

Disclaimer to keep me out of trouble, knowing the sensitivity of any information regarding tryouts:  There is no Bantam 5 team.  The name Bantam 5, and the colors and numbers shown above were selected at random to show an example.  There were no tryout numbers this high, so this was purely fictitious.  The use of the numbers 1, 4,5,8, and 9 or any combination thereof do not imply in any way that the numbers shown had a better or worse tryout than anyone else.  The colors yellow and blue were chosen because there were no yellow or blue pinnies at tryouts, and I avoided green and brown as we do have members with that last name.  If any familes named Yellow or Blue move into town at any point in the future, I apologize in advance for the oversight.

Presidents Cup Wrap-up and Thanks

CHA Sponsor Aucoin Hockey invites you to visit their site to learn more about this summer's schedule for their camps.  The summer schedule was recently posted.  Last year's camps were very well attended and feedback was positive, so be sure to register early, as the sessions do fill up.  You can click their logo below to visit their site.

Final Farewell

While you may see a few more emails and other messages from me, as far as newsletters go, this is it for me.  I'll be stepping down from my post and stepping away from my keyboard after 3 years of service to the Association.

I hope the site has evolved over the years into a communication tool that delivers useful, timely information throughout the year, in addition to the necessities of schedules.  Four years ago, there was one newsletter per year, it was mailed to your home, and the news was almost old when it got there.  The newsletters were never part of a job description.  I just felt that with being on the board, I knew what was going on in CHA and felt we had a better tool to get the word out.  Trying to avoid multiple emails per week with CHA news, when possible, I chose to store the news items up a bit, until I had enough content to send out a newsletter.

I leave with pride in knowing you were communicated with on a regular basis during my tenure, knowing that schedules were posted in a timely, accurate manner, and that the Association now has a platform for communication, surveys, online registrations, database information, team news, tournament information, program information, and ongoing feedback to the board.

Best regards,

Bill Kamenides
