Here we are in the part of the season where ice time gets scarce, but travel teams are still averaging 2.3 sheets of practice ice per week. Please be sure to email Ice Director, Chris Hill
your team is not going to use one of your scheduled sheets so it can be re-assigned.
If you ordered a hockey decal for your vehicle, it should be in this weekend. I'll try to get them all delivered as fast as I can. If you ordered one as a gift, please email me at
, and I'll be sure to deliver yours before Christmas.
|CHA Ice Breaker Social - Updated
SAVE THE DATE - Ice Breaker Social for parents only has been moved to Friday, February 2nd at the Princeton Station in North Chelmsford from 7:30 pm to 12:30 am. The Ice Breaker is a great night out, and a chance to see what everyone looks like when they aren't shivering! The night is filled with raffles and great music, and had a huge turnout last year. Tickets will go on sale soon, as coordinators Pam Anastasi and Brenda Crawford will be meeting with team reps in the coming weeks to plan ticket sales, and raffles.
Just a reminder that final dues payments need to be made by January 10th. Players who ave not paid in full cannot participate in the Presidents Cup tournament. Invoices will be going out soon for any remaining balances.

|Mid Season Parents Survey
As Peter Lawlor's message indicates, we'd like to get some data from the parents of our travel teams (Mites through Bantams and Girls Programs) regarding your experience in Chelmsford hockey this year. I have posted an online survey and we'd like to request that you complete the survey once for each skater or goalie you have on a travel team today. Your feedback will go a long way to shape the future direction of our program. To access the Online survey, please click here
, or visit the Survey Menu on the homepage.
|Santa Visits Learn to Skate and Peter Puck
Santa took to the ice this past weekend at Learn to Skate and Peter Puck. All observers and participants were impressed with Santa's smooth moves on the ice, especially with those ancient skates. Take a look at Santa and Fluffy the Elf on ice below.
If anyone has any additional pictures of Santa on ice with the kids, please forward them to
so I can post them.
Many of you will be participating in a tournament over the holiday break. If you get any good pictures of your team please send them along so I can post those as well.
|New Website Functionality - Text Messages and Site Translation
Want schedule changes and CHA news sent right to your cell phone via text messaging? It could come in handy if you don't check email often, or perhaps if we have a late breaking weather related cancelation. You can have your CHA news, schedule changes, and alerts sent right to your cell phone as a text message. (your carrier's text messaging rates will apply).
How about an easy way to register for next year? We are working on implementing online registration for all programs next year, but we need your updated info.
For either of the capabilities listed above, you'll need to edit/update your account with us. To do so, click here
to download a document to walk you through the process.
Ever wonder what our website would look like in French, Spanish, Italian, German, or Portugese? Me neither! Just in case though, you can now see a translation of the site by clicking on the flags on the left side menu. Kids taking a language class might find this capability interesting. It's a new feature from League Athletics, our site provider, and I thought I'd leave it on for a while.
|Ever wonder what happened to our trees last year?

Happy Holidays to all!
