Pee Wee 2 Maroon Advance to States!

Hot off their Presidents Cup Championship, the Pee Wee 2 Maroon team play in the State Tournament this weekend.  Come on out and support the team.

All the games are at New England Sports Center in Marlboro, Mass. (see the site for directions).
Games Schedule for the PW2M team:
Friday March 3rd at 8:00 PM in NESC rink 2 vs. Bay West
Saturday March 4th at 7:30 AM in NESC rink 3 vs. Needham
Saturday March 4th at 2:30 PM in NESC rink 3 vs. Falmouth
The winner of each grouping moves on to the semi-finals on Sunday March 5th, games at 8:40 AM.  Semi-finals winners play for state championship Sunday March 5th at 1:20 PM.
Winner of the tournament is state champion as well as moving onto to regional play in Morrisville, NY the weekend of March 17-19.

  Presidents Cup Success

Tournament Director Darren Cossett has posted his note of thanks to all on the Presidents Cup Tab, click here to visit it.  Thanks to Darren for the months of work which go into running the event as flawlessly as he does.  Special thanks to his entire family who rally around him to contribute to the event.  The entire Cossette family did a phenomenal job again this year.

Presidents Cup Drives Web Usage

Thanks to everyone who utilized the site for their Presidents Cup info.  The site delivered over 35,000 page views for the week, over 3 times the normal average.  Those page views are different than the session counter, which measures unique visits to the site.  We now have had over 100,000 visits to the site this year.

Calendar Raffle Part II

Fundraising Director Pam Anastasi reports that the final fundraising event of the year will take place in March.  The second calendar raffle of the year is a mandatory event for all travel teams.  Tickets are $5 and each player must sell 5.  Tickets will be given out by your team reps this week and drawings will begin March 26th.  This raffle replaces the second Tag Day we used to have. There is no dues credit for this event.

If your team participates in a tournament, and you'd like to send a recap for an upcoming newsletter to let everyone know where he or she competed, how much fun they had, and how they did, please submit your Tourney Recap to It is helpful for all teams to be aware of what kind of experience the teams have at these events so we can send teams to the best ones in future years.
