Program DescriptionThe Learn-to-Skate Program is a great entry point for kids to begin and develop skating skills and have fun out on the ice. The program targets boys and girls ages 4-10 and will be divided into groups on the ice based on level of proficiency.

Novice Group: Program emphasis is on having fun on the ice as children will learn to stand on their own and begin to move independently on the ice.

Advanced Group: Program emphasis is on having fun on the ice as children learn more advanced skating techniques, such as; forward stride, skating backwards, stopping, and turning.

AttentionOn-ice parent volunteers that would like to assist CHA coaching staff are welcome. Please contact our Development Director below for more details and the requirements necessary to join us on the ice.
